On Saturday, July 27 at 7:00pm, join us at Nocturne for an intimate evening of celebration and discussion with Lauren Carter Reilly, author of The Wonderful Lady B series. Over drinks and light bits, there will be much mingling and merriment at one of Salem’s most unique venues.
Reilly will be there to sign copies of her latest book and answer any questions about her writing process. Copies of the Wonderful Lady B Volumes I and II will be available for purchase.
Help us celebrate the successful launch of The Wonderful Lady B Volume 2, the much-anticipated follow up for fans of Lauren Reilly’s The Wonder Lady B, which follows our main protagonist Barbara Bixby to the 1980s. In 1870 a young woman vanished, never to be heard from again. Now in 1982 three total strangers each receive a letter. Barbara Bixby never truly vanished. She's still very much alive after nearly one hundred years, and all she wants is to tell the truth about her life. It's not alwavs been a wonderful life. It's been full of magick murder, and plenty of heartache. But in that life she is gone from timid Barbara Bixby into the terrifying, captivating Wonderful Lady B.

This event is to support a talented self published author, so purchasing her book(s) would be greatly appreciated! Lauren will be there to chat and signs copies. If you already have a copy, no problem! We are here to celebrate a local author and generally have a good time!
What can I expect when I walk in to this event?
Come in! Show your ticket to the attendant at the counter and grab a drink. This is a welcoming group and will be set up very casually as a meet & greet with friends and community members. Lauren will be there to mingle and enjoy the evening. An impromptu Q&A or book talk will occur!
