Lavender Hydrosol Spray

This exceptional offering known as a hydrosol is a unique elicitation of botanicals, produced through an ancient & alchemical practice in a copper alembic. Hydrosols are a naturally aromatic water-based offering free from any additives. Hydrosols, also known as hydrolats, are the co-produced result of distilling plant material, along with essential oils. They contain water soluble plant compounds and minute amounts of the corresponding volatile oils. As an extremely gentle and safe offering, hydrosols are incredibly versatile.

Crafted with garden grown Lavender, this hydrosol contains the aromatic & medicinal components of the plant. As such, it is calming, anxiolytic, astringent, and more. When used as a self or atmosphere mist, this hydrosol imparts those qualities. When used as a facial toner or as the perfect liquid mix-in for Gate & Garden's herbal face masks, it is soothing and toning to the skin.

As a metaphysical item, hydrosols can be used as a doorway or floor wash, left out in a dish as an offering on an altar, as an aura spray, to cleanse totems, and more. Lavender provides an air of protection and tranquility when used in this fashion.
