IMPORTANT: As the weather gets warmer, salves can get soft in transit, and may leak. As a precaution, all salves will be inside a cello bag.

This salve, lovingly concocted by Elder Sisters Apothecary, was inspired by the notion of "Odour of Sanctity" which is said to be a sweet, often floral scent that emanates from the wounds of stigmata, or bodies of holy people. Starting in the Middle Ages, witnesses often described the scent of incense, roses, violets, and sweets, filling a room where a saint's body lay. So much so, that the Odour of Sanctity was part of the beatification process for hundreds of years.

Elder Sisters Apothecary created a salve inspired by the descriptions of these odours. Using rose, violet, copal, frankincense, jasmine, and Balm of Gilead, they crafted a truly heavenly scent with a deeply calming effect.

But this is not just a sweet smelling salve; with wormwood and mugwort, the salve is also a potent divination aid.
