SACRÉ CŒUR is an ultra-limited Black Label perfume with only 100 bottles produced worldwide. Created by Douglas Little of Heretic Parfum, this exclusive fragrance cannot be found anywhere else.

At the end of 2025, our first two allocations arrived in waves, six bottles and then sixteen, and they disappeared within hours. Heretic’s own launch followed in early January and sold out just as quickly. Then something rare happened. The incredible team at Heretic held back the last ten bottles for Nocturne to release in Salem.

That means this is it. The final batch of 10 is arriving soon.

Notes from the perfumer, Douglas Little

A fragrance of cathedral air, antique resins, and meditative stillness.

There are places that hold scent the way stone holds light. The Sacré Cœur Cathedral is one of them: cool mineral walls breathing incense, candle soot, wax, and centuries of devotion.

SACRÉ CŒUR is my attempt to gather that atmosphere, not as a literal portrait, but as a living incense, a relic of aroma, a private chapel on the skin. This is a perfume built the old way, slowly, from rare and antique materials used for ritual and solace since antiquity. Each essence carries its own age, its own geography, its own soul. When they meet, they do not shout. They glow.

Materials

A sacred blend of resins, woods, and shadowed sweetness: Omani frankincense, myrrh, styrax, labdanum, cypress, juniper, cedar, vanilla absolute, cypriol.

Frankincense from Oman rises first, bright and lemon-resinous, then folds into myrrh’s sepulchral bitterness, the two performing their ancient dialogue of lift and depth. Styrax and labdanum bring the slow smoke of burnt offerings, balsamic and leathery, warm as old prayer books. Cypress and juniper thread through like dark green air in a high nave. Cedar steadies the whole with a dry, architectural calm. Vanilla absolute and cypriol arrive late, not sweet so much as ambered and earthy, like the last breath of incense clinging to wood.

A quieting molecule

Frankincense contains farnesol, a naturally occurring molecule long associated with stillness of mind. It is known to soften the edges of thought, quiet the interior room, and allow the brain to settle into something like meditation. In SACRÉ CŒUR, this effect feels less like a note and more like a climate, an atmosphere that slows time.

The wearing

This is a perfume for those who love incense not as a costume, but as a truth. It wears close at first, then blooms slowly with heat into a soft radiance of smoke and resin. Ancient, but not heavy. Solemn, but tender. A scent for night, for winter, for solitude, for ritual, whether that ritual is prayer, art, or simply being still.

Craft and rarity

SACRÉ CŒUR is made in a micro edition of 100 bottles. Each bottle is hand-poured, blended, and bottled. Each label is hand-done by a master calligrapher. Every bottle is individually numbered 1 of 100. No two are precisely alike. Each is an object with its own small human irregularities, what I think of as the signature of the hand.

Essence

SACRÉ CŒUR envelopes the senses in ancient beauty and wisdom. It is a fragrance of sanctuary: smoke lifting into silence, resins warming on stone, the tender gravity of the sacred made intimate on skin.
