Each Sorceress and the Stone necklace is an entirely one-of-a-kind, hand-forged creation by Los Angeles artist Rachel Pitler-Hsiung. Combining metalsmithing, silversmithing, Tiffany-style techniques, stained glass methods, sculptural elements, and hand-selected stones, these extraordinary necklaces blur the line between jewelry and ritual artifact.

Every piece is individually constructed by hand with silver plated chains: materials are brass & lead free molten metal silver alloy, allowing the marks, textures, patina, and irregularities of the metalsmithing process to become part of the finished work. Ancient weapons, botanical forms, mystical creatures, ceremonial objects, and protective talismans emerge throughout the collection, giving each necklace the feeling of an artifact unearthed from another time.

Natural and faceted stones are incorporated throughout the pieces, bringing color, texture, symbolism, and an additional element of intention to each design.

About Sorceress and the Stone

Based in Los Angeles, Sorceress and the Stone is the creative realm of artist Rachel Pitler-Hsiung, where one-of-a-kind tools, ritual objects, and adornments are created for altar use, ceremony, and everyday magick.

Rachel's work is rooted in a lifelong devotion to the mystical, ceremonial, and transformative power of objects made with intention, informed by many years immersed in the gem and mineral industry.

This chapter of her artistic practice formally began in 2014 with the creation of her original Witch Wands and Scepters. Her work has since expanded to include Sorceress Crowns, Athames, Wizard Staffs, jewelry, and other ritual artifacts, each designed to feel powerful, deeply personal, and unlike anything else.

Her process brings together Tiffany-style techniques, silversmithing, metalsmithing, and stained glass work, often incorporating hand-selected crystals and stones chosen for their individual character and significance.

No two Sorceress and the Stone creations are ever exactly alike. Each is a singular expression of craft, ritual, adornment, and magick, made by hand and intended to become an object with a story of its own.
