Sorceress and the Stone One-of-a-Kind Handcrafted Scepters & Wands

Each Sorceress and the Stone scepter and wand is an entirely one-of-a-kind creation handcrafted by Los Angeles artist Rachel Pitler-Hsiung. These extraordinary pieces combine sculptural metalwork with hand-selected crystals, gemstones, vintage-inspired elements, and organic forms, creating ritual objects that feel as though they belong in another world.

Rachel's work draws from ceremonial magick, mythology, the natural world, antique objects, and her many years immersed in the gem and mineral industry. Using a combination of Tiffany-style techniques, silversmithing, metalsmithing, and stained glass methods, she builds each piece individually around the stones and objects that inspire it.

These are not mass-produced replicas. Each scepter or wand exists as a singular piece and will not be restocked once sold. Natural variations, patina, texture, and evidence of the hand-making process are intrinsic to the work.

The Heart Scepter
A dramatic double-ended scepter crowned with a large, dark crystal heart and finished at the opposite end with a deep reddish crystal point. Additional faceted stones and rich sculptural metalwork travel along its length, giving the piece the feeling of a romantic ceremonial object devoted to passion, devotion, and transformation.

The Winged Familiar Scepter
A fantastical scepter featuring an outstretched winged creature beneath a dark crystal sphere, with luminous stone detailing at its center. Antique gold-toned accents contrast with the silvery hand-worked metal, creating the appearance of an enchanted familiar captured mid-flight. Equal parts mystical object and miniature sculpture.

The Rose Crystal Wand
A slender, beautifully proportioned wand crowned with a pale pink druzy crystal point and a large faceted blush-toned stone, with a smaller rosy gemstone nestled beneath. The opposite end terminates in a purple crystal point. Softly colored stones contrast against dark, organic metalwork for a piece that feels romantic, feminine, and otherworldly.

The Shadow Crystal Scepter
A commanding scepter crowned with a large natural dark druzy crystal formation held within dramatic branching metalwork. A dark cabochon sits beneath the crystal while small deep-red stones dangle from the setting like jeweled drops. The opposite end is anchored by a polished black sphere, creating a substantial ritual piece with a wonderfully dark, ancient presence.

The Cameo Scepter
An ornate scepter built around a vintage-style portrait cameo, framed by warm sculptural metalwork and a dimensional flower set with a golden stone. A tall golden crystal point rises above the portrait alongside a dark faceted gemstone, while a polished black sphere anchors the opposite end. Romantic, mysterious, and unmistakably Victorian in spirit, it feels like an heirloom transformed into a magical artifact.

Based in Los Angeles, Sorceress and the Stone is the creative realm of artist Rachel Pitler-Hsiung, where one-of-a-kind tools, ritual objects, and adornments are created for altar use, ceremony, and everyday magick.

Rachel's work is rooted in a lifelong devotion to the mystical, ceremonial, and transformative power of objects made with intention, informed by many years immersed in the gem and mineral industry.

This chapter of her artistic practice formally began in 2014 with the creation of her original Witch Wands and Scepters and has since expanded to include Sorceress Crowns, Athames, Wizard Staffs, jewelry, and other ritual artifacts.

Her process brings together Tiffany-style techniques, silversmithing, metalsmithing, and stained glass work, incorporating hand-selected crystals and stones chosen for their individual beauty, character, and significance.

No two Sorceress and the Stone creations are ever exactly alike. Each is a singular expression of craft, ritual, adornment, and magick, made by hand and intended to become an object with a story of its own.
