the MOST beautiful scent

I was visiting Salem last week and stopped into Nocturne, obviously. The woman running the store was incredibly helpful, assisting me in finding scent based on my descriptions, and there were A LOT of options to choose from. I have long searched for a perfume that made me smell/feel like a walking incense stick, and this is it!

The product is amazing for top to bottom. The packaging is so cute! It comes in a black box; the scent name stamped in white on the side with golden melted wax over the top and a little dried flower bud. It also came with a small card, detailing all the scent notes as listed above with original art on the back that matches the vibe of the scent. It's affordable, portable, and made by a small business, which I love!

And it smells SOOOO good. I can't even describe how much I love it. I'm not the best with words but it's so satisfying and calming. It's light but deep at the same time...kind of powdery and smokey. Like you walked into a witchy shop. I put it on around 7:30 am, it's almost 1 pm as I'm writing this and I'm still getting whiffs of myself when I move. I don't live locally but luckily, it's available for shipping when I run out. If you like incense and unique perfume oils, Wendigo Moon is definitely for you!

I love this little piece of art so much! Thrilled to have found it in the enchanting Nocturne shop! It makes for a wonderful addition to my upstairs gallery wall! I've decided to name the tiny squirrel Oswald Clementine the 3rd. I can't wait to visit Nocturne again!

We always have such a lovely experience at Nocturne. My boyfriend and I can’t help but fall in love with pieces that aren’t even for sale (we joke about it every time we go in). On our last visit, we were really interested in a cherub shelf, and while Codie wasn’t sure if it was available, she went out of her way to try to find out for us. She even took our number and followed up with a text later that day after checking with Kim.
That kind of effort really stands out and is a big part of why this shop is so special to us. It’s easily our favorite spot in Salem, and our home definitely reflects that. Even though the shelf wasn’t for sale, we still left with a few new treasures.
